Chocolate covered bananas

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooling time: 20 minutes

Makes: Around 8 bananas

Half a banana, coated with delicious dark chocolate topped with anyone's favourite topping. A simple quick and easy dessert that needs no cooking, just chilling in the fridge!




Ingredients:
Bunch of bananas
200g Dark chocolate
Any toppings you would like, I used; fudge, sprinkles, pearls, pistachios and smarties

Method:

1. Line a dinner tray with greaseproof paper before you start. Peel all the bananas and chop in half. Carefully push a lolli stick into the base of each banana. Melt the chocolate either over a pan or in the microwave. Once melted, dip the bananas and sprinkle with your toppings, laying them flat on the tray. Repeat for all bananas and place in the fridge to cool before serving.
